approximate running times for cine film shot at
silent speed, 16 or 18 frames per second.

 Pathex cassettes, one or two minutes.
Film
shot at sound speed, 24 or 25 frames per second
will have a shorter duration. For example,
400 feet of 16mm sound film will last on screen
for about 11 minutes.
